Oh, if I could go back,
back to the childhood me,
the same old person,
yet not the same me?
Saying all that I could,
oh, so carefree then,
now why am I so fearful?
The younger me, oh living,
the older me though,
am I healing?
In faces, I used to build
my own versions of people,
now, in faces I find,
versions of myself.
From all that I could be
to what I should be,
oh, the seasons changed
and maybe so did me.
