⭐One of the runner ups of The Creativity Fest, Summer Art Contest!⭐
"Woman at Sea" is about transforming into the person we truly are. I just graduated from college and the days leading up to my graduation, I was afraid of the massive upcoming change in my life. I thought this fear would carry on throughout the summer, but with more time, I have become really excited for the next chapter of my life. As much as time felt like it was ticking away, I realized how thrilling the future can really be. Whenever I think of summer, I think of swimming, the aquamarine water of the sea, and mermaids, which are also an icon for transformation. Much like the girl in the top half of the hourglass, I am also diving into the deep end, and I hope to come up as a beautiful mermaid who is comfortable in her skin and scales.
